Redwood Financial Will Writing

We have a comprehensive range of Will Writing Services available in Petersfield, from our mirror Wills to a fully bespoke individual Estate Planning Service that can include Protective Wills, Trusts, Guardianship, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs), Inheritance Tax Planning and Long Term Care Fee Planning, designed to give you the peace of mind that your family members and loved ones are protected when you die.

What Will Writing Services do we provide?

At Redwood Financial we believe everyone in Petersfield should have access to affordable, professional, and legally binding Wills, that protect them and their beneficiaries, regardless of their Estate Value. With years of experience in crafting Wills, Trusts & Estate Plans, we are now making it even easier for people in Portsmouth to access our award-winning expertise in Will creation.

A basic Will cannot do much more than detail your wishes. It will not protect you against factors that can erode the value of your Estate, like Inheritance Tax, Long-Term-Care Fees, Divorce and Relationship Breakdowns.

The good news is that you can take action to protect your legacy in a legal and tax-efficient way, using the law as it was intended to be used by HMRC. The solution is Protective Wills which carve the right types of Trusts through them, bespoke to achieving your Estate Planning goals.

Why choose us for your Will Writing Service in Petersfield?

Redwood is a local, family owned and run financial service business and we believe we are uniquely positioned and qualified to help our Clients, their families, and the generations to come in the future. Will Writing FAQs:

For many, writing their Wills can be a very daunting and emotional prospect, filled with legal jargon and thoughts of mortality. So, it is hardly surprising that so many put off doing it in the first place! All they want is to protect their loved ones, family members and beneficiaries from the financial and emotional impacts that their passing can bring to others if they die Intestate (without a Will).

We want to ensure that you have the best advice when creating your Will and that it delivers the Goals you wanted to achieve. All too often we see poorly drafted Wills, (some crafted by a solicitor or law firm!), that just fail to adequately protect you and your legacy.

A Will specialist like those employed at Redwood is skilled in the crafting of a professional and legally binding Will, as well as the expertise to provide and implement true Estate Planning advice.

We have a comprehensive range of Will Writing Services available, from our basic Online Will Writing Service for single or mirror Wills to a fully bespoke individual Estate Planning Service that can include Protective Wills, Trusts, Guardianship, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs), Inheritance Tax Planning and Long Term Care Fee Planning, designed to give you the peace of mind that your family members and loved ones are protected when you die.

Dying without a Will could affect your loved ones. More than just your funeral wishes, your Will also lets you decide what happens to your money, property, and possessions after your death.

One of the biggest risks of dying without a Will is that the law will decide who gets what. As if that is not bad enough, if there are no legal heirs the Government will inherit everything!

We always encourage our Clients to start their Estate Planning journey by joining one of our Free Public Information Webinars or Seminars on the topic of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. This provides a great level of knowledge for Clients to then make an informed decision about what they want to achieve from their Estate Planning.
If you are still unsure what you need, booking an Initial Meeting to discuss your Estate Planning Goals with an expert Adviser is a good next step. And because we charge for these meetings, our priority is giving you the very best legal advice, not trying to sell you services you just don’t need!

If you believe our Online Will Service is best for you, our online system will ask you a number of qualifier questions to make sure that an Online Will is the most appropriate of our Will Writing Services for you.

You will not be able to complete or pay for our Online Will Writing Services if you do not qualify. You will instead be directed to contact us and we will arrange a complimentary video or phone call with an Adviser who will work with you to understand your Will Writing Goals and agree on a way forward that best protects your loved ones and family members.

While you can write your Will yourself, we would always recommend that you get advice before you consider doing so. You will need to get your Will formally witnessed and signed to make it legally valid. If you want to update your Will, you need to make an official alteration (called a ‘codicil’) or make a new Will.

We are approved by the Trading Standards Buy With Confidence Scheme which audits and approves businesses as ‘trustworthy’ and ‘safe to do business with’.

We are full members of The Society of Will Writers and Redwood were also winners of the coveted Will Writing Firm of the Year for Southern England in 2018, where our Managing Director also scooped the prestigious Young Practitioner of the Year for the whole of the UK.

But don’t just take our word for it, check out what our Client Reviews say!

Our Will Review Service provides an opportunity for you to have your Will and any other existing Estate Planning documents comprehensively reviewed by one of our professional expert Advisers.

Your complimentary 30 Minute Will Review Meeting can take place over the Phone, by Video Call or at our Offices. Whatever is most convenient for you.

Our Online Will Writing Service starts at just £49 for a single Will or £79 for a Mirror Will.

Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Webinars and Seminars are FREE.

Estate Planning Implementation costs are unique to every Client, as the recommendations are bespoke to their needs. Every Client receives a full breakdown of recommendations and the cost for each as part of our Discovery Meeting with them. You are in the driving seat and you choose what planning you want to instruct us to put in place, putting you in charge of the implementation costs as well.

Your Will should also name an executor (or several executors) who will administer the estate and carry out your last wishes. This is a very important role for someone, as a Will is a legally-binding document. We always recommend that you appoint people you know and trust, to make sure your Will is followed as you intended it to be.

Redwood Financial Family Wealth & Estate Planners Ltd is Directly Authorised with the Financial Conduct Authority. This is reserved for only the most professional and experienced Financial Advisor firms, who feel confident in their ability to govern their internal compliance procedures directly with the Financial Conduct Authority. We are restricted Financial Advisors as we limit our advice to specific investment and pension products. We do not advise on VCT’s, Cash ISA’s, Structured Products & QROPS.

Clients will then request to have an Initial Meeting with us. This is a one to one meeting with a professional Adviser to understand your unique and specific Estate Planning Goals and for you to understand the options available to you to protect your Estate.

Clients can then choose to move to a Discovery Meeting. Based on your unique Estate Planning goals, our Adviser will create and share a bespoke Discovery Report. This will detail every aspect of advice tailored and recommended for you, with detailed costs broken down to the last penny including the VAT. You can then choose to ask us to implement all, some, or none of the recommendations, only paying for the services you would like us to action.

The final meeting will be an Estate Planning Implementation Meeting. Prior to any final signing of your Wills and other Estate Planning documents, you will receive a draft to approve and if required request amendments to them. A signing Meeting will then be arranged to conclude the Will Writing Service.

We are strong advocates of involving your family members in the process and we will ensure that your chosen Beneficiaries, Trustee’s, Attorney’s, Guardian’s, and Executors are involved as much or as little as you want throughout the process.

We know every family situation is different for everyone and our experience has taught us that by involving those who will benefit from your Will early in its creation, there is clarity of understanding for the wishes and decisions you have made, and unity and support to help you achieve them. It also helps to drastically reduce the risk of your Will be contested by a disgruntled family member!

If all you need at this stage of your life is a basic Will or Mirror Wills that details your wishes and instructs who should receive what in the event of your death, we can help you with that too. Our Online Will Writing Service is a great place to start, or if you would like a little help through the Will Writing Service process from our Team, we can assist you with that also.

All our highly skilled Financial Advisors have a great deal of experience in Financial Planning and Estate Planning and are Certified Financial Advisors (Dip FA) who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We also have specialist qualifications in Equity Release (CeRER) and Long-Term Care Fee Planning (CeLTCI). Although there are no formal qualifications needed to advise clients on their Wills & Estate Planning, all of our Estate Planners are members of the Society of Will Writers, a self-regulatory organisation whose primary objectives are to uphold the advancement, education and ethical standards within the Will Writing & Estate Planning vocation.
