We are looking for an additional qualified Financial Adviser to join the Redwood Team. If you are looking to progress your Financial Planning career, come and have a chat with us.

Our dedicated team is an integral asset to our family-owned and run business. As a Financial Planner, you’ll be the primary point of contact and friendly face that our valued Clients meet!

We would consider Advisers with existing Clients or those without Clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Planner. The Financial Planner will be responsible for working with Clients to analyse and assess their financial situations and provide strategic Financial Planning recommendations and Estate Planning advice.

Your main priority and focus will be converting qualified Leads into valued Clients while delivering an exceptional Client experience and service. You will go above and beyond to WOW our Clients and ensure they become loyal, raving fans.

Qualification and expectations

  • Level 4 qualification
  • Personal Financial Planning and Finance skills
  • Retirement Planning skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the financial planning industry is preferred

Previous experience in the Financial Planning industry would be advantageous to a successful candidate. The ideal candidate would also have high attention to detail, be proficient in most Microsoft applications, and be task-orientated and confident in managing their own time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent Client experience and relations
  • Taking full responsibility and management of your time and workload
  • Maintaining frequent and clear communications with Clients
  • Holding Advisors Client meetings
  • Compliance with Redwood’s Client management processes and procedures
  • Ensuring Legislative Compliance and Financial Conduct Authority requirements
  • Support at Client events

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Office-based role at Southampton, SO32 3PW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work is required
  • Occasional home visits to Clients may be required
  • Some home working flexibility after a period of training and probation
